Robert Alvarado is a nationally known Hair Technician in the Hair Restoration industry, and has been performing Hair Transplants for 16 years. His journey as a Hair Technician started back in 2000 when he worked for Medical Hair Restoration (MHR). It was working for MHR where Robert’s passion for Hair Restoration began. He quickly learned all the nuances of the business, and before long was managing the Washington, D.C. and Atlanta, Georgia offices.
In 2008, MHR was bought out due to the failing economy. However, this didn’t stop Robert. With all the skills he had acquired over the years combined with the relationships he had built, Robert decided to go into business for himself and opened up his first Hair Restoration facility—the formerly known Follicle Transplantation Group located in Atlanta, Georgia. While building his own niche in the Hair Restoration Industry, Robert still found time to work as a independent contractor for facilities such as Hair Club for men, Bosley, and a multitude of Plastic Surgeons just to name a few.
The Hair industry has gone through many trends over the years, from Hair Plugs, Toupees, Strip Surgeries and everything in between, but Robert is especially excited about the direction that the hair industry is currently taking. Through the technology provided by the Neograft Procedure and Accugraft machine. Robert has now become a Leading Certified Neograft Technician. He has been interviewed by Fox news out of Tampa, Florida, as well as featured in the Columbian Newspaper in Vancouver Washington. Robert also travels the country and trains physicians and medical personnel on how to perform these leading automated FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) procedures.
Robert, also known to many in the Hair Restoration Industry as “Big Rob,” has partnered with and opened up his second Medical Hair Solutions of Georgia office (MHS) in Atlanta and is training many qualified Hair Technicians on the new leading automated FUE procedures. Robert has enjoyed changing the lives of all the patients he has performed surgery on in his 16 year career, and looks forward to changing the lives of many more!
